The great object of this work is, to consider, in a concise and plain manner, the various names and titles applied to Jesus, both in the Old and New Testaments. The author had, in the course of his professional studies, long seen the necessity of a work like this, and he believed that something of the King was much needed in the Christian world. Due to the age and scarcity of the original we reproduced, some pages may be spotty, faded or difficult to read.
