Jim DeStefano is an engineer and architect and a Fellow of the Structural Engineering Institute. He is president of DeStefano, Chamberlain, which he founded in 1981 in Fairfield, Connecticut. Jim is a recognized authority on the restoration of historic structures and timber frame construction, and his projects have garnered numerous awards. He lives with his lovely wife, Vera, and their loyal mutts, Trixie and Jade, in an antique Connecticut home that he restored.
