My prayer is that the reader of Attitude of Gratitude experience an intimate relationship with God in worship! But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary for Israel; states He will rule as God. If we allow God to rule our hearts, He will inhabit our praise! Psalm 22:3. God dwells in our lives and through our praises. In other words, we become intimate (dwell intimately) with God when we praise God. I believe we are created to have fellowship with God. We are made to worship God! God’s greatest desire is to be intimate with His people! Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalms 100:4 We enter into God’s presence when we truly worship God! True worship comes from a thankful heart. I Thessalonians 5:18-19 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. God’s will is to become intimate with us. Worship is expressing our love toward God! We grow in our trust in God when we worship. Our faith is activated (or empowered) by what we say and do. Our doubt is also activated (or empowered) by what we say and do. Romans 8:28 says, And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God. When we trust thateverything is working together for our good we will praise and worship God during difficulties. But if we don’t trust that the difficulties are for our good we will complain. Complaining is the polar opposite of trusting God! Many people today are dealing with negative thoughts like depression and/or anxiety. Romans 1:21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Attitude of Gratitude True Worship book gently guides the reader to discover and uncover areas in their lives were their heart become darkened which could lead to dramatic mental health issues.
