Roslyn has been kidnapped! Please come at once! was the message that sent Raneous, a winged horse from heaven, and Brian rushing to the city of Livia in the dead of winter. Lord Myran, Roslyn’s father and her twin brother, Rhyse, are beside themselves with worry. They have only one clue, a rare gem of lavender jade left in the snow beneath her window. It’s found only in one place; the town of Talla high in the Jovan Mountains, and is fiercely defended by its skilled Tallan warriors. Why would they kidnap Roslyn - or anyone- for that matter? Heavily supplied for the cold adventure, Raneous, Brian, Lord Myran and Rhyse head into the frozen north in search of answers, but dark forces are at work and strange white wolves begin to attack! They soon find that Roslyn is not all that the enemy has taken!
