Harvest of a Wrathful Eye: An Outer Banks Crime Mystery

What was an open missing person’s case becomes a homicide investigation when a body is discovered in Virginia’s Shenandoah National Park. One month later, a respected psychiatrist is killed aboard his yacht on the waters of Roanoke Island. Based upon the offender’s signature, the medical examiner is able to conclude that the same killer was responsible for both homicides. Marty Tate and Deputy Kenny Smith start working the Outer Banks investigation and Lt. Jared McClure and Officer Fred Drury, both with the Virginia State Police, pursue the Virginia case in a coordinated effort to solve both crimes. With clever stealth and skill, the killer is able to elude the investigators in part due to his scrupulous planning, as well as his highly advanced knowledge and experience in cyber-crimes. By exploiting vulnerabilities in modern smartphones, the internet and social media, his prey and their surviving loved ones are caught completely unaware of his murderous behavior and motives.
