Vito Radice ("The Don") has published ten books of poems & two autobiographies.
He was born in Italy & immigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1964 where he currently lives.
Born in the village of "San Fele" (Province of "Basilicata"), in his "Nonna Martone's" house. The house is built into the side of the mountain and it's still there today. Abandoned!
He was a young, fair skinned, freckle faced curly, redheaded Italian boy, who, with his mother and older brother, left the poverty of my rural home in Southern Italy to migrate to Australia and reunite with his father (whom he had never seen) and started a new life in Sydney, in December 1964
He was 5 years young.
He has been living there ever since.
He is now now 65 years young.
