Demystified is the first commercially available English language Combi/Steam Oven cookbook in the world. This is the first cookbook bought to you from the team behind Cooking With Steam that now has over 300 recipes and instructional videos that have benefitted steam oven cooks from around the world.
Originally released in April 2021, this updated version now includes Celsius & Fahrenheit temperatures as well as Steam percentages.
This book is for all levels of home cooks. The recipes are not sorted or noted with a "degree of difficulty" as for even experienced home cooks, new techniques and cooking methods can be a challenge. Learning how to correctly steam Salmon or make a Duck Confit will lead to more technical or challenging recipes such as Steamed Salmon with Potato Scales or Cassoulet.
Demystified has:
92 recipes specifically adapted to steam, including over 25 steam only recipes
Each recipe has not only the full list of ingredients, equipment and method needed but also helpful tips. Full page colour photos accompany each recipe
Following on from the recipes are some instructional on "Basics" such as how to make Chicken Stock and Shortcrust Pastry
The very last page could well be at the front of the book as Oven Functions and Steam Percentages are explained with reference to steam oven cooking.
