The novel, Unckle, tells the story of two brothers who escape from Pakistan and the many traumas that befall them en route to South Africa.

Upon their arrival in South Africa, they are ensnared in a web of corruption and wittenly join forces with the underworld.

The brother, Unckle, forges a broad-based wholesale business, and then adds one more line item to his operation ... Pakistani men.

Unckle buys a hotel and re-educates incoming Pakistani males brought into South Africa. It is a treacherous road that Unckle navigates in South Africa until his death at the hands of the authorities ... the very same people who kick-started his 'immigration' business.

His brother, Barber, is caught up in supplying the Chinese with rhino horn. This is the currency for negotiated freedom for Unckle and Barber - a ransom that is owed to the Chinese occupiers of Kashmir Province.

This plot is fast-paced and it draws the reader into the action in the novel! The vivid and descriptive language grabs the reader's attention, so that it is almost impossible to put down. It is gory and, most certainly, takes the reader on a multi-national adventure which culminates in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.

Hutchinson explores all realms of the human psyche as he moves the reader through cross-cultural experiences and lets them explore the political, religious and mysticism of Asia and Africa.

This is a work of fiction!
