Children are Authors too! Angel and The Little Dog was written and illustrated by Miranda Mary at the age of six. Her story is about a girl who rescues a little dog from an animal shelter. This book is the first of Miranda Mary’s Write Like Me™ Series. Inspired by her teacher, Miranda Mary started writing stories in the first grade and has now written over twenty books in two years. As an eight-year-old she continues to inspire other children to write, illustrate and share their stories, feelings and experiences just like her. The first half of each book is written by the author, and the second half is prompted by her in order to encourage each child to develop their own writing and illustrations.
