Yeteqolefebet-Qulf

The book is a novel. The setting of the story is back and forth between Ethiopia & the US. The title ‘yeteqolefebet qulf’ has two meanings - ‘the locking key’ & ‘the Locked-in-key’. The first one pertains to the story plot while its second meaning align with the deeper plot of the book. This ‘locked-in-key’ is the human mind. Only when the mind is unlocked from its bondage ones life or a nation can be transformed. The book, through a story of intricate nature, narrates the challenges and adventures of unlocking this key. It addresses both contemporary and historical issues of significance in Ethiopia. It is written in Amharic.
