The Forbidden Seed, which takes place in medieval France, is a story of intrigue, power and control, love and even murder. Stephane LaForte and Jacqueline York, passionately in love, are caught between the rivalry of two powerful lords. This rivalry shatters their world. France grows weary with anticipation of war as the conflict increases between the two most powerful lords of France, Lord William of Poitiers and Lord Hugh of Lusignen. Further to inflame their fury, dispute over a region called Fecond-Terre erupts between Lord Geoffroy, whom is sworn to Lord William and Stephane’s father, with Lord Victoir, whom is sworn to Lord Hugh. As tension escalates between Geoffroy and Victoir, pressure between Lord William and Lord Hugh builds. France becomes a pressure cooker waiting to explode. After Lord Geoffory’s murder, his manor descends into chaos as Young and inexperienced Stephane fights to maintain control, loosing the only woman he loves, Jacqueline, who is forced to marry Lord Victoir’s son. This story is about Stephane’s struggle to survive and his deep love for Jacqueline.
