A Mother’s journey is Shemeka’s story of having a child born with a disability. Children are a gift from God, ours arrived Specially Wrapped. Although it was unexpected to her and Bruce, it was no surprise to God. On this journey, they see God’s hand, plan and purpose in entrusting them with a family affected by special needs. This book brings healing because it speaks the truth of God’s love and break the shame and stigma that some parents feel.
