Poet Kelvin Watson has been producing a haiku a day (at least) for the last decade or so. He's 80, grew up in Loftus and is now based in Birmingham. He read English at Leeds, theology at Cambridge and has never stopped learning. He worked as a Methodist minister, teacher, tutor, school principal, and most recently as a second-hand and antiquarian bookdealer. He now reads a lot of the books in the new Birmingham library, some random French novels, and various things on the internet.
