The Readings YA Book Club is an informal monthly gathering for enthusiasts of all ages to discuss YA literature with a focus on Australian authors, hosted by St Kilda Childrens’ Specialist Isobel Moore.

We begin with Lady Helen and the Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman. On the eve of eighteen-year-old Lady Helen Wrexhall’s presentation to the Queen, one of her family’s housemaids disappears, and Helen is drawn into the shadows of Regency London – Pride and Prejudice meets Buffy in English high society.
